Safety Information
Your safety is our top priority. Please note the following:
- Use of Caustic Soda: Soap making involves the use of caustic soda (sodium hydroxide), a necessary ingredient for saponification—the chemical reaction that produces soap. Caustic soda is highly alkaline and can cause skin irritation, chemical burns, and respiratory issues if not handled properly.
- Face Mask: To protect against inhalation of vapours during the workshop, participants are required to bring their own mask. All other equipment will be provided. Details will be emailed to all participants upon booking.

The workshop takes place at Off The Rails Arthouse, Ladybank Station House, Victoria Street, Ladybank, Fife, KY15 7JT.
