Soap Making Made Simple

Ever wondered how natural soap is made? Come along to our relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop and find out!

We’ll guide you step by step through the cold process method, showing you how to safely mix the ingredients, add natural colours, and scent your soaps with pure essential oils. You’ll also get the chance to experiment with simple designs and patterns using individual moulds.

What’s included:

  • A full introduction to cold process soap making
  • Tips for colouring and scenting your soaps naturally
  • Hands-on practice creating your own small batch
  • Six freshly made soap bars to take home, along with the silicone mould to use again

When & Where:

  • Weekday sessions: 6.30pm – 8.30pm
  • Weekend sessions: 2pm – 4pm

Each workshop is kept small (just six spaces) so you get plenty of time and guidance. Book your place before they’re gone!

Safety Information

Your safety is our top priority. Please note the following:

  • Use of Caustic Soda: Soap making involves the use of caustic soda (sodium hydroxide), a necessary ingredient for saponification—the chemical reaction that produces soap. Caustic soda is highly alkaline and can cause skin irritation, chemical burns, and respiratory issues if not handled properly.
  • Face Mask: To protect against inhalation of vapours during the workshop, participants are required to bring their own mask. All other equipment will be provided. Details will be emailed to all participants upon booking.
